Friends of Queen’s Park
3 March 2014

Dear Residents of Queen’s Park,

We need your views on the future of the park. What would you like the bowling green area to be? How can the playground and cafe area be improved? How can we best preserve the Grade II listed features of the park?

What do you think it is missing? What would encourage you to use the park more often?

Friends of Queen’s Park is working with the council Projects Team to run a community consultation that will help create a new blueprint for the park by the end of this year.

Please join us for an open, public workshop on Saturday, March 29th, 2-4pm at St Luke’s Church, Queen’s Park Road, BN2 9ZB. All ages welcome. The meeting will be attended by Jim Alison (Brighton & Hove City Council Projects Team) and landscape architect Tom Hardiman.

This is a once in a generation opportunity to shape the park for local people, so please join us and make your views count.

See you there.

Johnny Webb,
Chair, The Friends Of Queen’s Park
