The Brunswick Festival

The Brunswick Festival is organised by the local community in Brunswick Town, Hove, every August, as a free and fun day for local families and their friends and this years dates are :

10th August 2014 –
Rural Day at St Ann’s Well Garden featuring Scruffs dog show
16th and 17th August 2014 –
Brunswick Festival in the square

It all started in 1981, with a small picnic and some music on a sunny August day in Brunswick Square.

Now 33 years on, it’s certainly quite a bit bigger and what is now the Brunswick Festival is still going strong! There’s more entertainment year by year but we do work to keep the flavour local, celebrating the diverse community of Brunswick Town in Hove.

The Brunswick Festival Group produces this annual event and is an entirely voluntary organisation. Through the hard work and efforts of a small team of local residents and volunteers, this vibrant community festival has grown over the years and now encompasses two whole weekends of outdoor events and is one of the longest running festivals in the city.

This year the festival celebrates its 33rd year and we’re as excited as ever at the prospect of enjoying more beautiful fun filled August weekends in St Ann’s Well and on our lovely Square.

See you there!
