Brighton and Hove Friends of the Earth
social media release: Friday 11 July 2014

Thanks to everyone
Thanks to everyone who braved the damp and dismal weather today to protest about Urban Fringe Development to the City Council. The item was removed from the Committee debate today and will be reconsidered at their meeting in September, we believe, thanks to all those who have expressed deep concerns about the proposed policy. Photos to follow and more info about next steps soon. A special thank you to reps from Save Our Deans, Friends Of Hollingbury and Burstead Woods, Ovingdean Residents Group, Brighton and Hove Wildlife Forum, CPRE Sussex, and of course our own group members, who were all represented (sorry if we missed anyone out!).
