Are you a Living Wage employer?
Brighton Business

News 23 October 2014

Over 130 businesses, charities, social enterprises and public sector organisations have now signed up to the Brighton & Hove Living Wage Campaign. It is Living Wage Week 2 – 8 November and Brighton Chamber, who are administering the campaign, want to encourage more employers to sign up during the week.

If you are a Living Wage employer and you pay your employees £7.65 or more – please sign up to the campaign here.

If not, could you be? It’s free to sign up and takes only a few minutes. Signing up means that the campaign can promote you as a Living Wage employer. It also enables those looking for a supplier that is a Living Wage employer to find you in the directory.

Recently signed up to the campaign is Kare Plus, and John and Clare Woods, the branch directors said: “We are committed to ensuring excellent care is received by service users from our team and one way to ensure this quality is by valuing our staff and paying a fair wage. Without our staff, there would be no Kare Plus Brighton!”

Please note that apprentices and interns are exempt. The Living Wage rate is reviewed annually in November. The next review will be announced on 3rd November 2014.
